  Cavalier Community Foundation:
  Established by a group of concerned citizens with an initial gift of $25,000 in stock from a former area resident who chose to remain anonymous. The Fund will build endowment and make grants to enhance the quality of life in the Cavalier area.
  Alice Baer Memorial Foundation Fund:
  Established by the Rocky Top Band in memory of one of their band mates. Alice Baer was the female lead singer and sister of Rocky Top Founder Duane Voegele. The Foundation will make grants in the Bismarck area to provide musical instruments and music instruction to encourage youth to make music.
  Drayton Area Community Foundation:
  The Drayton Foundation was established with a gift from the Drayton High School Consumer Math Class. The Fund will make grants to enhance the quality of life for citizens in the Drayton area.
  Kindred Area Community Foundation:
  The Kindred Area Community Foundation was established by a group of concerned citizens from the Kindred area. It will make grants to enhance the quality of life for citizens in the Davenport, Hickson, Kindred, Leonard, Oxbow and
Walcott communities.
  Carole Bordenkircher Kralicek Scholarship Fund:
  Established by Carole Bordenkircher Kralicek to provide an award for the Bismarck Rotary Club History Award winner. Each year the winner of the award will receive a scholarship award from the income from the Fund.
  Dan & Mary Liberda Fund:
  Established by NDCF Board Member Dan Liberda and his wife Mary. The Fund is an unrestricted fund of the North Dakota Community Foundation and will make grants across the State of North Dakota at the discretion of the NDCF Board of Directors.
  John D. Kelly Memorial Fund:
  Established by Tish Kelly in loving memory of her husband John who passed away only two months after being named to the United States Circuit Court of Appeals. The Fund will make grants to support legal services for those served by Legal Services of North Dakota.
  Verner & LaVina Campbell Glasston Cemetery Association Endowment Fund:
  The Fund was established with gifts from the esate of LaVina Campbell and from the Verner Campbell Trust. The Fund will provide for maintenance and upkeep of the Historic
Glasston Cemetery.
  Curtis Stern Memorial Scholarship Fund:
  In tribute to the dedicated work of Curt Stern, the National Sunflower Association board of directors established a memorial scholarship in his name. The NSA board kicked off the fund campaign with a $10,000 donation. The fund will be administered by the ND Community Foundation and a committee consisting of NSA members. The Fund will assist students who study in the field of agriculture with special emphasis on sunflower production, promotion or research.
  Historic Elmwood Endowment Fund:
  Established to support the upkeep and ongoing maintenance of Historic Elmwood located in Grafton. Elmwood is a 20 acre tract of land along the Park River in Grafton. Located on three acres is a beautiful Victorian mansion, built in 1895 by C.A.M. Spencer, North Dakota’s second attorney general. William C. Treumann, the second owner, was commander of the North Dakota Volunteers who saw duty in the Philippines in 1898. It was Mr. Treumann who registerd the property as “Elmwood” in 1913.
  Leo Billey Memorial Scholarship Fund:
  Established with a gift from the Estate of Leo Billey, a longtime Ellendale area farmer. The Fund will assist students from Ellendale & Oakes with their post-secondary education.
  Farm Rescue Non-Endowment Fund:
  Established to receive donations for Farm Rescue until they received their 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS. Farm Rescue’s mission is to provide assistance to farm families that have experienced a major illness, injury or an act of nature that has caused undue financial hardship. Qualifying farmers are eligible to have their agricultural land planted free of charge.
  Underwood School Foundation Endowment:
  Established by the Underwood School Foundation Board of Directors to provide grants to enhance education in the Underwood School. The Underwood School Foundation’s goal is to support the school’s mission “To meet the challenges of our changing world through education”.
  Clarence Johnson & Eunice Iwen Fund for Arthur, ND:
 
  Established with a gift from the Estate of Clarence Johnson. The Fund will support projects in the Arthur, North Dakota Area.
  Harry & Merle Stephenson Memorial Fund:
  Established with the proceeds of a Charitable Gift Annuity established by Harry Stephenson. The Fund is a subfund of the Grafton Community Endowment Fund and will support projects in the Grafton, North Dakota Area.
