At the request of Governor Jack Dalrymple, the North Dakota Community Foundation has established the North Dakota 2011 Flood Relief Fund. Governor Dalrymple requested that the NDCF establish the Fund as an efficient, coordinated vehicle for those who wish to assist with the flood relief efforts across our state.

All gifts to the North Dakota 2011 Flood Relief Fund are tax-deductible as charitable contributions. Every donor will be sent a receipt for their tax records. No administrative expenses will be taken from the gifts
which means that 100% of your gift will be used for the flood relief efforts.
The North Dakota Community Foundation led a 1997 Red River Valley Flood Relief effort that resulted in over $23 million in flood relief for those affected by the 1997 Red River Valley flood.
