How is the Community Foundation administered?

A volunteer board of 15 community leaders from across North Dakota governs the Foundation. Board members may serve 2 three-year terms and then must bere placed. An independent certified audit is conducted each year and presented directly to the full board. Several standing committees oversee portions of the Foundation's work, including a grants review committee, investment committee, audit committee, Schoalrship commitee, executive committee, gift acceptance and other committees as deemed necessary to porperly manage the Foundation's affairs. A small professional staff supports these activities as well as other Foundation programs.
