Richard & Christina Fiedler Scholarship

Fund Background: The fund was establishedin 1981 by Walter and Norma Fiedler of Bismarck in memory of Mr. Fiedler’s parents. The scope of the scholarship was limited because of Richard's love and skills as a steam engineer and auto mechanic. In addition to mechanical interests, he served as a Hettinger County Commissioner for 8 years as well as a City Police Magistrate.

Eligibility Requirements: The scholarship will assist a graduating senior from Mott, ND High School who is planning to pursue an engineering or mechanical arts degree at a post secondary institution in North Dakota. The award will be paid in the fall.

Applications accepted January 1 - April 1 only. Applications received outside of this window will NOT be accepted.
