Travis Hohbein Memorial Scholarship

Fund Background: The fund was established in 1998 by the family and friends of Travis Hohbein.

Travis Allen Hohbein was born in Mandan on October 28, 1980 to Allen & Lynn Hohbein. He attended Roosevelt Elementary School, Mandan Junior High and had just completed his Junior year at Mandan High. Travis was always involved in his family and helping out whenever a hand was needed. He also lived for his music. Travis would put any earnings he could into his car stereo, home stereo, and his wide variety of CD collection. Travis loved to play Frisbee Golf. As long as there was no snow, you could find him throwing his disc. When there was snow, Travis would be in the hills or mountains on his snowboard. Travis had many friends, older and younger, and many classmates whom he also shared special memories with.

Travis was caring, giving and a confidant to everyone. Not only this, Travis was a very special son, brother, uncle, great-grandson, grandson, nephew and friend to so many different people. If there was one thing he could promise each and every person that crossed his path, was that they would continue their journey with a piece of him – his smile.
